| Automotive Transportation | Automotive Transportation is permitted in this Championship. Contestants are responsible for making reservations for all rounds. |
| Eligibility | Entries will be limited to male amateur golfers who enjoy membership privileges at Clubs belonging to the New York State Golf Association, or are NYSGA Associate Members residing in New York State. Entrants must have attained their 25th birthday by the date of their regional qualifier. USGA Rules prevail, except when otherwise modified by the Executive Committee. All entries are subject to the approval of the Executive Committee, which reserves the right to disqualify or default any player at any stage of the Tournament for any reason deemed sufficient by it. It also reserves the right to amend this program at any stage of the Tournament. If the Host Club prohibits use of metal or ceramic spikes, a contestant who wears these spikes will be disqualified. |
| EXEMPT Player List | The following players are exempt, and must enter the tournament through the EXEMPT ONLY page for the championship. Allen, Donald Auerbach, Phil Bernatovicz, Andy Chalanick, Robert Clarke, Matthew Dean, Scott Fetter, J. | Qualifying Play | Qualifying Rounds will be under the direct authority of the designated Qualifying Chairperson. The Qualifying Chairperson will arrange the rules and procedures and so notify each contestant. Should an exempt player choose to qualify and return a score insufficient to qualify, he shall lose his exemption. If the number of entries recieved in any sectional qualifier is less than the number required to allocate a position in the tournament proper, then that qualifier may be cancelled by the Committee. In such a case, the contestants affected shall be entitled to a refund of their entry fee, or, if feasible, offered the opportunity to qualify in another Section. |
| Refund Policy | Entry fee, less a $10.00 service charge, will be refunded regardless of reason if the NYSGA is notified by phone (888) NYSGA-23 prior to the close of entries. Refunds, less service charge, for illness or injury after the close of entries require written confirmation. No refund for any reason after the tournament date. |
| Registration | Contestants are required to check in at the New York State Golf Association desk at Dutchess G&CC by 3:00pm Thursday, September 20, 2007. If this is not possible, please phone the NYSGA at (888) NYSGA-23 by that time and advise them of your intentions. |
